Painless way to remove ingrown hairs and achieve smooth fuzz-free skin

When hair grows past the surface of the skin begins to curl back and grow into the hair follicle, it is known as ingrown hair. These are common occurrences which look like a small pimple with tiny coloured surface on the hair follicle. Often painless, they typically grow out when ready. But sometimes, these hairs may cause pain, irritation, swelling, soreness and infection. Fortunately there are painless ingrown hair treatments available that you can opt for.

Where does it usually occur?

Hair which is naturally curly is more prone to become ingrown than straight hair. This is one reason why ingrown hairs occur more often in the pubic region where hairs tend to be tightly curled. Wearing tight clothes creates a friction by rubbing hair of the body back into the surface of the skin, allowing easier access for skin penetration. This is also a precursor for ingrown hair development.

The primary cause of ingrown hairs is shaving practices that directly contribute to curving of hairs. These practices include stretching of skin during shaving, shaving too closely or using multiple blades, and shaving against the grain.

Getting rid of ingrown hairs:

Depending on the location of growth, you have two options to choose from.

Freeing:  Allow it to grow and eventually free itself. This methods works better when combined with daily moisturizing and exfoliating to remove dead skin cells which could be blocking hair’s escape. Freeing hair has the benefit of allowing the skin to heal ahead of another hair removal session.

Removing: This can be done by fishing hair out from under the skin’s surface using a sterile needle and then plucking it out with tweezers. But if you feel this method is painful then you could go for Ultra hair away to reduce hair growth and prolong the duration between shaving, waxing or depilation treatments. The treatment leaves no residue behind and works to inhibit hair growth without causing skin damage.
